I have an issue in Birmingham where there were 2 Richard Perkins born in Warwick one 1798 and the other 1799 both with parents of Richard and Ann with 1 marriage in 1796.

Works out that the marriage appears to be for the other Richard's parents in Aston Cantlow and not mine in Birmingham even though the first birth for my Perkins family occurred just after this marriage in 1796 with the birth of Thomas who was christened at St Phillips Birmingham 1796.

So without seeing proof of James Brindley's birth and parents (seeing the research), I will be taking what Allan Hiscock has written up as an unproven lead
