I think Frisworth Floor was the wife of Thomas.  Baptisms at Wissendine:

23 July 1682 Albine Flower s/o Thomas & Frisworth
27 Apr 1684 Thomas Flower  ditto
26 Sep 1686 John Flower   ditto
8 Jan 1690 Richard Floor    ditto

Unfortunately I cant find a marriage for them.

Oh found it!

27 Oct 1681, Empingham, Rutland - Thomas Flower & Prisworth Mason then in what looks like Latin (which I dont read, so I apologise for the poor attempt at transcribing) 'Locum dis Johannes Mason et Sarah Andrews'

Or "Locum" could be Lodem ??   Maybe an idea to post a snip on the deciphering board?

Well done to both.  And here I was complicating matters by looking in Leicestershire and not Rutland.   :o ::)

I have a Rutland Parish CD....

I'm also still very uncertain about that 1765 will and have found another one in 1735.   The 1734 burial has this John as a Farmer, which perhaps sits better with the 'Yeoman'.

I have found other occupations than farmer as yeoman. It is more to do with income and real estate holdings.

My ancestor was William Baker the blacksmith and he was termed a yeoman because he held leases of several cottages and so had an income from rent, as well as operating at least 2 workshops for his trade.  :D

Frisworth is unusual but when the families are all using it for naming the granddaughters for grandma, it might as well be Mary or Elizabeth.  ;D ;D

Salute,
Janelle

I think the name Frisworth is probably a variant of Frideswide:
