Scarborough electoral registers
« on: Wednesday 24 January 18 13:21 GMT (UK) »
Hello, can anyone confirm if there are electoral registers for Scarborough covering the 1870's and 1880's, and if so, where they can be accessed?
Hood, Walker, Gibbons, Welch, Murdy, Male, Webb, Martin, Gostling, Easthope, Maddocks
Mostly from in and around the Birmingham area

Without checking I would suggest Scarborough Library or the North Yorkshire Archives at North Allerton would hold copies of them

Scarborough didn't become a constituency until 1917.

Prior to that is was part of The North Riding of Yorkshire Constituency, Cleveland & Whitby divisions from 1885
