Rev Folliott Magrath 1797-1869
Folliott Chas Magrath, Navy Surgeon 1836-1865 son of Chas K Magrath, Kerry
So far I haven't found them or their brothers with another child named Folliott - so the Army Ordnance man has got me v. interested ....

A Folliot George Wainwright MAGRATH was baptised in St. Jude's, West Derby on Apr 11 1835
His father was Thomas and his mother Elinor

He would have been 33 in 1868 if you haven't ruled him out


Also there is a baptism in Ferns, Enniscorthy on April 30 1830
Magdalen ill. dau. of Folliot MAGRATH and Mary DUNNE LINK
He may also have had a son...

Thankyou. Yes I do have the FGW Magrath baptism - he died at less than 12 months in May 7.5.1835.
The Folliot Magrath/Mary Dunn birth I have as Magdalen M - I have never been able to find more details or reference to a marriage. The idea the 'M' might be an 'ill.' is intriguing as he was a Rev/Curate's Asst from 1827! Not impossible I guess....
It occurred to me that maybe I am not understanding the British Military records of 'Superannuation Allowance' (on FindMyPast) correctly.  I took this to be an allowance for superann. for a still working Folliot. But maybe on reflection this could either be a retired Folliott or perhaps a payment to a relative after his death. Would be glad for advice on how to interpret?
