Searching for Nicholas Heath and Alice NN from Warwickshire
« on: Saturday 27 January 18 06:44 GMT (UK) »
Based upon research done, it appears that my father's family (Heath) may have had a connection to Dosthill in 1585. I am looking for information about Nicholas Heath, Sr. and Alice NN. Their grandchildren from their son, Nicholas, Jr., and his wife, Margaret Beck were all born in Kingsbury.

I am hoping to find information about exactly where Nicholas, Jr. was born (and when). Nicholas, Jr.'s oldest son, Robert, my 12th great grandfather, was born in Kingsbury, Warwickshire in 1582. I would assume that Nicholas and his wife were born between 1555 and 1560. I would like to know where Nicholas, Sr. and Alice were born and when (if possible).

Nicholas, Sr. and Alice are my 14th great grandparents. Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.

My answer - posted on your original post -

Images for the parish of Kingsbury - Dostill formed part of this parish - are available on Ancestry.  Dates range from 1562.

The earliest mention of the surname Heath is the baptism of Elizabeth, daughter of Nycolas on 17 February 1588.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Thank you. I don't pay money to Ancestry, so I cannot see anything.

If you live in England, then most libraries have access.

I live in Ukraine.   There is no family center in my city (it closed).  I cannot access anything from here.

BumbleB: The Elizabeth you mentioned who was baptized in 1588 died as an infant.  There were 8 children in the family, including Robert Heath (b. 1582), my 12th great grandfather.  Three of them (including Elizabeth) died as infants.
