Any info. would help please.

Joseph Stoddart b. 1850 Egremont, Cumbria u.k. son of Robert & Elizabeth.

Emigrated (leaving wife Frances `Fanny` ) to Pretoria, approx. 1900 - 1910, also taking with him his daughter `Polly` ? Mary or Elizabeth.  He had a son Robert, but think he stayed in the u.k.

In the u.k. he was a `Boiler Maker/ Engineer/ Blacksmith.
