Homewood Marriage c1735-1745

Is anyone able to check for the marriage of Thomas Homewood (Holmwood, or Hoomwood) to a Mary in the Kennington/Boughton Aluph area between about 1735 and 1745.

I know that they had a son named Edward christened in Kennington in Dec 1741/42 but I have so far been unable to find a marriage for Thomas and Mary.

FindMyPast, East Kent marriage index has an entry for a marriage between Thomas Homewood and Mary Rogers at Molash St Peter, on 18 Oct 1740, with a note "shown as Homad"

Kent, Canterbury Archdeaconry Marriages has the same entry but as Homad, original is written as Homad.

A Thomas Homewood baptised 10 Oct 1741, s/o Thomas & Mary at Kennington Kent.

And a Thomas Hoomwood baptised at Boughton Aulp, 22 Jan 1715/1716, s/o Ed. & Catherine.

Thanks for all those bits of info. I found the christening of Thomas Homewood (s of Edward and Catherine) in Boughton Aluph yesterday and reckon that must be my Thomas. I haven't looked at the Homewood line for a very long time and last time I'd looked at them don't think I got back any further online.

I hadn't looked at the Molash area but I reckon that could be him. Do you think the note saying "Homad" is just a mistranscription of Homewood? Could someone have misheard it?

Do you have a copy of the marriage licence details at all? If so can you send it to me?

Thanks also for the christening of Thomas and Mary's son Thomas. I knew he was born in 1741 but I didn't have the date for some reason.
