Liverpool burials
« on: Sunday 28 January 18 10:46 GMT (UK) »
I have found burials in the early 1800s that were  in different Parish Church   registers
Did all these Churches have graveyards or were the bodies buried in a cemetery  somewhere else.

Within the town of Liverpool there were a number of churchyards attached to churches ie St Nicholas, St Peter, St Thomas, St John etc there was also St Mary's the parish cemetery which wasn't attached to a church.

What graveyards are you interested in? The early ones were landscaped or built on.

Thanks. None in particular, it was just a general query.

Ruskie`s link is quite informative, but I`m still search for the burial of Frances Litherland.
