« on: Monday 29 January 18 11:37 GMT (UK) »
I've got someone (definitely dead) who was at school in :Liverpool in the 1940s & 1950s. Is it possible to find out what school he went to, please ?

Do they have any living siblings you could ask?

You would normally presume it to be the school closest to home (though of course it is not always the case). Do you know where they lived as a child? Also, if they moved house, they may also have moved schools.

Probably depends on where they lived and what their religion was. It's guesswork really at the start you could create a list of possibles then see what records the Liverpool Record Office has and go through them and see if you can find a mention of him.
