Sarah " 26 dressmaker b Brompton

James Eltham of 57 Theobald's street road was buried at St George the Martyr on 23 july 1843 age 36

baptisms of children:
Sarah bapt 24 Nov 1834 Holy Trinity, Brompton, abode Queen's Gardens, occ servant
James bapt 17 Mar 1844 ( born 24 Jun 1833) St Pancras, abode Theobald's rd, occ servant
William Samuel bapt 8 Feb 1846 (born 9 Mar 1839) St George the Martyr, abode 57 Theobald's rd, occ servant
Henry bapt 8 Feb 1846  (born 3 Jan 1841)  St George the Martyr, abode 57 Theobald's rd, occ servant

Another possible one, but why isn't she on 1841 census?
Emma bapt 27 June 1841 (born 1 Jun 1837) St Pancras, abode Adam street, occ servant
Could be Jane the eldest, poss born Somerset not Middx
Ann Jane Eltham bapt 22 Feb 1829 at Walcot, Somerset abode 4, Myrtle Place, occ servant.

I have found birth reg for William Samuel, mother mn Brown. Can't find Henry's birth to confirm.

Marriage of James Eltham to Sarah Brown in Bath on 30 Sep 1828 looks most likely.

It looks like James was born about 1807 not in Middlesex, married in Bath at the age of about 21 to a Sarah Brown who was born in Dorset. He is consistently a servant in all available records but may  have been in the fashionable town of Bath with his employer, rather than have been born there.
Any suggestions please?

marriage licence on Ancestry says John was a coachman. Looks like John died 1811 an Ann in 1813, both buried Timsbury

Ann was 34 when she died, so born abt 1779, so assuming John is a similar age, the next step is to find his birth and parents.

James and Eliza (assuming she survived) would have had to be looked after someone after Ann's death. Eltham's are a bit thin on the ground in Somerset, so perhaps the Love family.

I have a spare Eliza who married in Wantage in the 1830's maybe it's her
