Haven't found Lizzie in 1901 U.S. census or 1911 Canadian census yet., not sure if 1930 census is her, also haven't found her in 1940 census yet.

Have plenty of articles about sister Lucy murdered in 1908 by husband Sherman Cammack from U.S. and N.S. papers but hoping there might be other articles about Lizzie somewhere. Tried Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection without any luck but haven't used the site before so I could have missed something there.

Any help in filling in the blanks appreciated.

Added- Judson Gardner and family moved back and forth between Nova Scotia and Boston, Massachusetts.

This would make the son a stepson to Elizabeth.

The age she states she was first married tallies with the 1924 Sears/Gardner

ALPHEUS R. NEES
FRANKFORT - Alpheus R. Nees, 74, died in his home at Denver, Colo., relatives here have been informed. He resided in Frankfort for many years and  graduated from Frankfort high school in 1905. He was a retired chemist. Surviving with the widow are a son Laurel Nees, Frankfort and a brother, Chalmer Nees of Atlanta.

What a lovely surprise to log in today and find all this new information. Thank you all for your help which not only gives me more details of Lizzie's life but some more leads to follow.
