I'm looking for details of the marriage of Norman Hull & Margaret WEIR (or possibly LEGGATT) - I think in Essex, Ontario, probably about 1930

07 Sept 1935 at Windsor, Essex Norman William Hull, 21, born Winnipeg, resident of Windsor, reporter, s/o Thomas Hull and Alice Gibbons married Margaret Dodds Leggat, 21, born Calgary, residence Windsor, d/o Andrew Leggat and Margaret Dodds.

Is there any possibility that you could check the details for the marriage of Robert Norman Hull (1937-2008) and Thelma Joan Lane (1931 - 2008). I guess that the date would be about 1960

Any marriage in that timeframe is protected under privacy laws.  The only way you would find information is from a newspaper notice

Hmm - you’ve very kindly found me details of a 1926 marriage, but c 1960 is covered by privacy legislation even though both parties have died...  Would I be able to apply for the marriage certificate, if I could find the year of marriage, or is that too covered by privacy rules going back xxx years?
Unfortunately as I only have Ancestry UK membership, it is difficult to find out Canadian info, so I’m particulatly grateful for your help.
