Have you found her obituary or death notice in the newspapers, it could give you some clues.

Who reported her death on the death certificate, does it give her parents names?

Hi - just a short obit in the Winnipeg Free Press, Feb 21, 1958.... page 28.
Says she died on Feb 17, 1958 in New Westminster, BC.  Mrs Mary Ronyck, formerly of Lot 19, Old Kildonan, Manitoba.  Aged 66.  Funeral at St. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral.  Interment Brookside Cemetery.

No family members are mentioned.

Just wondering about this family in Dauphin on the 1911:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:27FM-9WL

Transcription differs from A*try. Try looking for Nasta Petrascz on both the 1906 and 1911.

Also a birth:
Michael Ronyck
12 Dec 1909

Birth Place:   Sifton, Manitoba, Canada
Mother:   Mary Petrash

Maureen

That looks really good Maureen :)

I see an obit in the Winnipeg Free Press for Michael Ronyck.  He died June 1, 1988 at the Concordia Hospital.  Husband of Mary nee Zuck.  Names his daughter, son, grandsons and great granddaughter.  Also names sister Minnie and husband Howard of Victoria BC, brother Peter and wife Audrey of Burlington, Ontario, brother Steve of New Westminster BC, and sister in law Doris of Winnipeg.  Michael was born in Sifton, Manitoba and later moved to Winnipeg.  Interment Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.

No mention of his parents though... but this sounds like your Michael??

There will be a connection to this family because Michael's brother William was baptized in Dauphin.
Thanks

Looked into some of this as I thought might be related to an old friend. They aren't but I'll post what I'd found for others searching.
Family search has:
May 1902  Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada -  Immigration on ship Assyria
Wasyl Petrasz  age 54 1848   Nastia Petrasz age 30  1872
Hanka Petrasz age 14 1888   Marya Petrasz age 11 1891
all born Galicia (abrev. as "Gal." so amusingly noted as from Khowst, Afghanistan  )
Not positive if this is her husband & his brother's entry or came later with Iwan & the parents
Wasyl Riwniak age 23 b.1881 Galicia, Austria    Imm. Apr 1904  Halifax, N.S. Ca. - Ship Arcadia
Dmytro Riwniak  Age 24 1881  Austria   Imm. Jun 1905 Halifax, N.S. Ca. - Ship Armenia

Seems to match what other Rootschatters had found on the censuses.

???Might be way off with the immigration for her husband, or maybe just the brother?
-Brother Dmytro's marriage to Anna Basaraba (a.k.a. Hanka)  says Nov.22 1903?
Also several birth registrations for 1906?   Anastazia Riwniak  Birth: April 22 1906
     registered 1909  Nasta Riwniak Mar. 5 1906  &  Mary Riwniak Nov.15 1906
Farm's locations may have made hard to get in to records office right away
Dmytro's large family & mother Annie in 1926 Dauphin
 https://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.item/?app=census1926&op=img&id=e011219767

You might have all this as well...never did find Mary & Wasyl on 1921 & 26 census...
If already in Wpg. for 1921/26 census don't think they were on lot 19 Old Kildonan, yet...
which I think was here: *District 35 - Selkirk Sub-districts 1&2 held lots 10 & 11.  see url
https://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.item/?app=census1926&op=img&id=e011226290

Never found the birth circa 1914 or Peter's birth entry.
Apparently both he & Stephen changed last names to Roberts

info noted from previous helpers, with a bit added.
--Michael  Ronych Dec.12, 1909  Sifton, Mb. Mother: Mary Petrash
   d. 1998  Michael Ronyck & Mary Zuk   Marr:  Nov. 7 1936  Wpg
--Hanna - 1911   Annie Petrash REWNIAK  death: May 18 1925 Wpg
-- Stefan Rewniak   March 16, 1913   late reg -1957  Mary Petrosh
Died 1970 B.C. as surname Roberts changed name 1957 Wpg.
-- dau c. 1914? from 1916 census
--Nellie Riwniak Feb. 25 1916 mother: Mary Pitwacz  d.  1916 Dauphin
--Maria Riwniak Nov. 28 1917  mother: Mary Petrasz  Dauphin
--William Ronyck 06/11/1921   mother: Mary Petrash  Winnipeg
Marr:  Doris Mary Currie 04/05/1940 ST Boniface Wm. died 1956

Unusual to put Mary by youngest son, not by Wasyl?

The father Wasyl may have later gone by Wm. or Bill
They used Wm. rather than Wasyl for the son born in Wpg.
Just in case will add this:
WILLIAM  Riwniak age 57 c.1885 - death  Dec. 29 1942
buried Jan. West Saint Paul, "Selkirk Census area"
... this would be All Saints Cemetery (Ukr) / Riverside Cemetery
https://mani.mbgenealogy.com/   Rewniak has 104 results

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral
is just down Main St. less than half hr. away.

Bit of history...Pioneer Manitoba settlers, Wasyl Standryk & Dmytro Riwniak, sent a petition asking for the CNR stop be called Ukraina once the C.N. Railway reached their area. They say it was named as such in 1898, but the family wasn't there that early!
