What do you think about the one in Manchester workhouse Rosie?  I can't see who else he could be birth wise and he doesn't appear afterwards which would fit the William Archibald sailing off in 1897.

Do we know where he sailed from?

There's a William arriving New York 1907 in border crossings Canada to US born Manchester.
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

What do you think about the one in Manchester workhouse Rosie?

I think there is a very good chance that is him.   ;D

The only places of birth that are listed are Lancashire, the rest are blank.  The 3 following that record are blank so it could easily relate to one of them and has been entered on the wrong line. We all know information on census can be suspect  ???

Thanks again to you all for the work on this!

Is it possible to get a copy of the Manchester Workhouse document?

Best wishes,
