I have never come across Willie Thorne Crick, although it could be possible as so. Any of them have the middle name of Thorne,Throne,Thane, never know which is correct!

There are several records - presumably the extended family - with the name Throne as first or middle name.

Yes I have noticed that, it also has a variety of spellings, It could be some mother’s maiden name, that often happens and that helps to confirm that you have the correct person sometimes.

Martha Throne married Thomas Crick in 1798 so perhaps that was the beginning of the dynasty 

Did you check your death date for Frederick, Brenda?

Yes, my date was wrong, so have now amended it.....thanks for the Throne information,you have saved me a job, I do not have much time during the day to go on line.

That’s good - it would need checking to make sure it is the right family.

It is interesting isn’t it to look at all the other little side links when they have a bit of a story.

Yes.....I never mean to get sidetracked from my main families, but sometimes their stories are fascinating and just when you think that you have gone as far as you can......something really interesting turns up!
