Welcome to rootschat  :)

Have you looked at surname interests (bottom of the page) to see if anyone else is researching them.

Some first names, dates and places of origin in the UK would help us to help you  ;)

This is the only Pryke/Gusterson marriage showing on free bmd, but might not be related.....

Marriages December quarter 1925
Cyril E Gusterson    St.Olave    1d   238
Elsie Pryke              St.Olave    1d   238

so this might be his birth
Cyril Ernest Gusterson  mmn Nice  born March quarter 1907 in Sudbury

and parents' marriage
Marriages June quarter  1906
Ernest James Gusterson   Lexden
Elizabeth Nice    Lexden

Have you used free bmd for information about them, or have you only just started looking.

Seems a bit silly to do all the work if you have either already done it and wanting to go beyond freebmd, or just want some pointers as to what to do.

Because I was looking:

There is a death for an Elsie Gusterson in 1986, Enfield, born 5th October, 1904.

There is a birth for an Elsie Pryke in Edmonton in December quarter 1904, but mmn Demar, so perhaps the wrong ones.

Free 1939 gives this possible household, based on Cyril (so birth 1906, registered 1907)

Margarite A (Margaret Annie)   Fuller (Hall,Guesterson)   1931        Enfield U.D.
Elsie                                   Gurterson (Johnson)                   1902         Enfield U.D.
Cyril                              Gusterson                                     1906         Enfield U.D.
Margaret Annie                Hall (Gusterson)                            1931      Enfield U.D.

(So Margaret is down twice)

So wait for the poster to return?

Thank you all for replying and confirming what I have managed to find out I have my grandmother Elsie Prykes parents as Thomas Pryke born 1865 and his wife as Ada Annie Deemer born 1867 but I'm wondering who Ada Annie Deemer's parents were.  Also I am on the understanding Elsie Gusterson nee Pryke had another daughter apart from my mother of a child called Daphne E J Gusterson born 1928 and I think she lived for only one year is there anyway of finding out what she died of

Thank you for your help and assistance :)

the only way to find what Daphne died of is to purchase the death certificate

this may help
on census Thomas'surname is Pryke but on marriage it is entered as and he signed as Thomas Prike
Marriage register (from image)
Page 70 entry 140
St John Baptist Enfield
13 Sept 1896
Thomas Prike 26 Bachelor occ Cowman 52 Burlington Rd father george Edward Prike occ labourer (deceased)
Ada Annie Deemer 28 spinster 52 Burlington Rd father John Deemer occ Gardener (deceased)
witnesses Walter H Burrell & Martha Burrell
all signed

I found what looks like witnesses Walter Hugh Burrell and his wife Martha (nee Hicks)

It looks like Thomas and Ada Annie were living as husband and wife on 1891 census
