What did she do?
« on: Friday 02 February 18 16:00 GMT (UK) »
I had a great uncle Bertram Allard who lived in Port Alberni and then Victoria whose first wife Florence Mackenzie Ross bore him a daughter Sheila Eileen Ross who was born 25 July 1915 and died 15 January 1994. His wife sadly died with senile dementia and was the reason that they had divorced. He was kept up to date with her condition and informed eventually of her death by their daughter Sheila. That is all that I know about Sheila Eileen Ross who was 79 when she passed away. I can only but presume that she remained in Victoria and lived there until her death. Is anyone able to tell me anything at all about Sheila's life in BC.
Thank you in anticipation.

Death Certificate - Sheila lived at 7 - 1120 Richardson Street. Victoria BC. The informant on the death certificate was Phylllis Gallo. 2492 Beacon Avenue, Sidney. BC. Note she was never married.  Sadly, noone seemed to have any details of her  :'(

Thanks very much for that Sandra, I once again presume that she was a single woman who did not marry and have children. Just wonder what she did, work, social, etc. Strange not to know anything about her.
Thanks again

Canada Voters List 1965 - BA (R C N) and Mrs SA (laboratory technician) both of Colville Road. Victoria. BC.

Sandra

This record is questionable now - after unravelling further information.

This couple are living people so I have edited to use initials only.

That is interesting, but got me stumped, or perhaps Bernard is Sheilas son! There is no known marriage to date, so perhaps base born and given the name Allard. Are there no ages shown? All most interesting though. Intriqued to say the least.

Thanks Sandra, of is it Sherlock?

Looking at later Canada Voters Lists - this looks like same surname but a different couple.
