It is always best to link your previous threads so that we can see what searches were made and what was found, this saves us duplicating and wasting our time searching what has already been search.

You may know all about Bertram and the family but we didn't, we don't have psychic powers - it is always best to link previous posts on the same family subject - that way we know what you already have and what has been searched so far, that way we don't waste our time searching and duplicating what has already been found.

Ouch! Sorry for any inconvenience, but "What Did She Do" did ask the question if anyone may be able to help me put some flesh on the bones of Sheila Eileen Ross Allard and her life as I had no knowledge of her[u[ life at all. The fact that her living with another Allard at the same address and being a laboratory assistant was brilliant, and if that could be followed up would certainly help, as it is her that I am interested in.
Sorry once again.

Going to use abbreviations because the 1965 voters list referred to much earlier in the thread showing Mrs S A with a BA - R C N might be nothing to do with your Sheila. (This looks to be  a much younger couple - no ages are given on the voters lists)

That particular BA is still described as a serviceman on the 1972 Voters List - 854 Hotham Street Esquimalt Saanich.

The same couple appear on Canadian Phone and Address Directories, 1995-2002 - 744 Av Canterbury Ottawa Ontario.

The same couple (with a daughter) are still living - as I found a death notice of a friend of there's where they sent condolences last November.

There is an entry for a Miss Sheila Allard (waitress) on Canada Voters List 1958 - 74 Anthony Road. York Ontario.

Seems Allard was not an uncommon surname.
