GEORGE TAYLOR AND CATHERINE RAE

Yes I have all the information on George and Margaret including death certs  of both - from that I got the info on George Taylor and Catherine Rae being his parents. I also know from death cert that he died at Barthol Chapel and searched found the burial record from that. Am now looking to follow up a few things from Margaret Davidson's records to see if that sheds any light on her husband's parents.

Interesting to see that there is no use of the name Catherine for their daughters.

Always a possibility to keep in mind that a mistake might have been made on the name of George's mother by the informant to his death. Pain when that happens, but does come up sometimes.

Yes it certainly is...I did wonder if this was an illegitimate birth in which case probably impossible to get much further : )
