Robert Hutchinson Powell

I would appreciate receiving any information about the family of Robert Hutchinson Powell. His probate record states he died March 10,1864, at age 46 (born 1818) in the city of Chester and that his sole executor was his sister Ann Powell , a spinster of the City of Dublin. In his obituary it was stated that "he fell victim in 10 days to erysipelas".

His education in the University of London Student list stated "Intermed Med 1840. Diggins St Dublin; MB 1840 Apoth Hall Ireland; MD 1845, Apoth Hall Ireland.

Medical Directories of 1854 and 1860 give him in London M.D. London 1845; MRCP London 1859; MRCS Eng. 1840 and gives a long list of books and articles on medical topics in the 1840's and 1850's

Directories of 1844-1847 gave him living in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and while there wrote a book about diseases of the heart. He appears in London directories 1850-1860. In 1861 he was elected as honorary physician at the Chester General Infirmary.
