Jane Sivil Or Scovell
« on: Sunday 04 February 18 11:37 GMT (UK) »
Hello
I have one other problem and this is from my cousin in Australia.
Our 5x great grandfather is called George Hart married a Jane Sivil Or Scovell in 1737 in Shalfleet, IoW.
The question is when did she die and did George Hart come from the IoW?
We know that George Hart married again in about 1760 to a Jane Wall.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Can you check your dates please - you have first marriage for George in 1837, second in 1760  ;)

Hi,

I hope you don't mind me asking but why do you think that the George HART who married Jane SIVIL/SCOVELL I Shalfleet on the Isle of Wight is the same as the George HEART who married Jane WALL in Portsmouth in 1760?

I can't find a death for the first Jane but George and Jane seem to be having children in Shalfleet until 1748 then I can see a death for a George HART in Shalfleet in 1748. It doesn't show a date but it's possible that he was Jane SIVIL/SCOVELL's husband.

Regards,
Daisy
