Death of Samuel Hull
« on: Sunday 04 February 18 16:43 GMT (UK) »
Thanks to a kind rootschatter I now know that Samuel died in the United States, which was quite a surprise as this was the first I knew of the family emigrating.

From Family Search records I have him as an inmate in Holmsbury Home for the Indigent, Philadelphia,  on both the 1920 and 1930 census.

Does anyone know if there is a way to find out when he died as the 1930 census record is the last I can find on Family Search?

Many thanks.

Thanks for that Rosie, it must be him because parent’s names are almost correct although he was single and could neither read nor write according to the records.

May I ask how you found his death as I would like to find his father’s. His mother’s death is on Family Search.

Regards

Just in case it makes a difference re records I should have said William was born in 1832.

The last record I’ve seen for him was the 1910 census in Philadelphia on Family Search.
