I think she must have found out he was married to my nan before Robert was born. I have a picture of census information for Lily and it shows her name, the name Colman crosses through, the date of the marriage and above it there is a date from October 1947, it has a reference number also, I canít figure out what itís for, although it does start with the letter BIG (Iím assuming short for bigamy)

It wouldn't be a census you have that information from as we only are able to view up to 1911 -there is a 1939 register but that would be too early

So where does your information come from??

Newspaper report?

Just type the information instead of copying -as long as noone living is mentioned
