CENSUS 1901: Looking for MARTHA STANNER (b. 1885 Leek)
« on: Sunday 04 February 18 22:01 GMT (UK) »
Evening,

Looking for MARTHA STANNER (b. 1885 Leek) on the CENSUS of 1901. I've looked high and low and can only assume it is transcribe incorrectly on FindMyPast.

1891 living with Parents John and Elizabeth @ Kiln Lane, Leek and Lowe, Leek, Staffordshire, England
1901 Census ???
1906 Marriage to Ralph Johnson @ Leek

Can anyone locate this latest needle in the (family tree) haystack?  ???

Thanks  ;D

Even with that gift of a clue, I still cannot locate it on FindMyPast. It's even missing or transcribe under a very random name.

Genius!

There they are living next door (at no. 1). Transcribed as "StaRMer"  :-\

Many thanks

[RESOLVED - although the occupation is anyone's guess! FindMyPast has it as "Shenail worker"]

Could it be 'Chenille'. Which is a sort of a velvety yarn used in trimmings and also in clothing
