Navy in Malta

Hi my dad was stationed in Malta for 3 years around 1950 would anyone know how I can find out anything about his time in the navy especially the naval base in Malta?

The site referenced here has some information on the Royal Navy in Malta up until 1970 hope it is of some use, you just need to click through the indexes -link removed - GedB
