Marriage, Kildare
« on: Monday 05 February 18 23:45 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
This is a long shot, but I am looking for a marriage, possibly in Kildare between George Bushrod and Mary ?. This would have been in the 1820’s. Mary was born in Kildare, but they subsequently, lived in Dorset and Nottingham, England. I can find no marriage in England for them.
Thanks, sorry I don’t have more information.

Was he in the Army?
His name isn't coming up in the marriage license bonds and assuming it wasn't a RC marriage it may have taken place in a church in the Curragh camp area.
Naas, Newbridge, Ballysax would all be possible. Not many Anglican records are online and many were destroyed in 1922 but you can see what survives and were they are here.
