Thank you very much Willsy,

I have never accessed the original Transcripts before. The 1762-1800 baptism entries could hold the key. I need to scour them in detail - assuming no one has ever transcribed them into a more legible format ?

Best wishes from a sunny Georgia (sorry !)

Ken

Thank you William.

I need to scour the Bishops Transcripts carefully.

I much appreciate the feedback I am receiving from you and fellow researchers in the NE.

Many thanks for this,Willsy,

Lots to browse through. One day perhaps a set of the early 18thC Whittingham records might show up ! We are coming across to the UK in June,so (despite being a Lancastrian) we will make the pilgrimage to God's own County of Northumberland.
Best wishes,

Ken

Hi folks,

Still haven't come across any information confirming Robert Peary's parenthood (born 1803).I guess the various offers I received from colleagues to research this came to nought ?
Regards.

Hi y'aaalll

Greetings from a very warm Georgia,USA. Sorry !

No joy on the Robert Peary enquiry. So another test of your research prowess.

I'm trying to find the birth/baptism details of BARBARA DODDS,daughter of Mary (nee' Peary) and John Dodds (married 18th June 1792 @ Whittingham).Born around 1795. Her siblings were Thomas, born 1799 and William 1795 (Callaly).

Your assistance much appreciated.

Ken
