Not sure about 1927 as the women in the background are wearing hats and dresses that look Edwardian - 1908-1911.

Amazing! That makes complete sense to me. My grandfather did do some freelance work for the London Illustrated News and Tatler as a young man. You are a genius and have probably solved a family mystery for me. Thank you!

These photo puzzles are great fun and are usually solved by a group effort, its good getting confirmation from all of the findings, well done all!  :)
