What county/place of birth is this?

I have a snippet from the 1901 census, Bristol, Piece No. 2365, Folio 11, Page 14 showing a place of birth.  Ancestry have it as Herefordshire, FindMyPast have it as VIEREFORD.

What do Rootschatters think?

I think as all the others are counties, it has to be Hereford [can see *ereford] - maybe some of the 'H' has been lost? Is there another 'H' on the page?

I'd say it was Hereford too.  It's possibly a funny H like the Harriett of ?yesterday.

There are other Hs on the page but wasn't too sure if they are the same.  That's why I've given the census references so others can look at the whole page.

I'm inclined to go with Hereford but wanted other opinions.

I'm pretty happy with the idea of Hereford.  I'll see if anyone else wishes to make any comment before I mark it as completed.
