John & Georgina NAUNTON
« on: Wednesday 07 February 18 09:17 GMT (UK) »
In the 1871 Census in Marylebone Georgina and John NAUNTON were visitors in the household of Edwin and Prudence WHEELER. Georgina was Prudence's daughter born in 1851 before she married Edwin in 1852.

Edwin died in 1871 in London and in 1873 Prudence and her children with Edwin all emigrated to Pennsylvania in the US. Georgina may or may not have gone with them, they were not on the passenger list.

Can't seem to find a marriage for Georgina and John either and PENN or WHEELER.

Fresh eyes etc.

Thanks
Ian C

Long shot but in Sep 1868 there's a Georgina Wheeler marriage with a groom missing  :-\
She's only 20 in 1871 so it can't have been much earlier.

Chippenham district

Thomas Blake
Mary Jane Hobbs
Henry May
Fanny Sumsion
Georgina Wheeler

Some people are a whizz at finding missing grooms - hopefully can find one and rule it in or out.

Fanny Sumsion should be 5a 75 as she married William Mullings, I have let FreeBMD know.
