Has there been any news on when the Kirk session records will be available to search online? I know SP said something about 2017 a while back, but unless I've missed that search option I'm guessing they've been delayed?
I'm trying to find some information about my 3x great grandparents but I'm pretty sure I've searched all the possible OPR records for them to no avail. I just had a nice find in the Poor Law records thanks to the people at Glasgow City Archives, which shows their youngest son as receiving relief in 1849 as an orphan. This places his parents' deaths between 1841 and 1849 and I'm hoping maybe the Kirk Session records will be able to give me more information, particularly about his mother, as I can't find any real hint of her birth, marriage, or death. Mortcloth records in particular would help here, I'm guessing.
Are there any other ways to access the session records aside from in person?
