1. John Clark & Mary, their daughter Jane was baptised in 1687 in Wood Ditton wedding c1684

2. William Jeffery, His son John was baptised 1663 in Wood Dittion, but the baptismal entry just shows the father's name and no mother's name - wedding c1660 William was baptised 1637 in Wood Ditton.

Hi
There is a marriage on 18 Feb 1676/77 Wood Ditton, Cambs between a John Clarke and Mary Bye.
Looks to fit in With daughters baptism.

2 Possible baptisms for John -
John Clearke bapt 10 May 1634 Wood Ditton, Cambs. Parents - Robert and Joane.
John Clark bapt 6 Jan 1642/43 West Wratting, Cambs. Parents - Thomas and Anable/Annabelle?
West Wratting is only about 7 1/2 miles from Wood Ditton, about 2 1/2 hours on foot.

Possible baptism for Mary Bye -
Mary By bapt 23 May 1650 Dullingham, Cambs. Parents - Richard By.
Dullingham is only 2.2 Miles away from Wood Ditton, About 45 mins on Foot.

The only marriage which comes up for William Jeffery -
1667 Great Wratting, Suffolk between William Jeffery and Margaret Golding.
Great Wratting is only 11 Miles away, about 3 1/2 hours on foot.
Its possible they didnt Marry before having a child but this is only marriage I can see.

Hi Fenboy

Thanks for that very useful information about the Clarke Family, but I think I will hold fire on The William Jeffery marriage until I can find a firm link

God Bless
