Perhaps you might find her in baptisms, or go forward to the next census where you might find her with her family

Hi whdsn

Seems the child's given name was "Emily" (on the 1851 census though she is shown as "Emma" - I didn't check further than that. )

Baptism - Badgeworth Parish - Gloucester

Emily PEART
born - 31 May 1839
baptised - 30 June 1839
Parents :  Thomas (a labourer) and Ann - living at Bentham ? (looks like)

Parent's marriage :

Badgeworth Parish - Gloucester

10 April 1834

Thomas PIRT *
Ann WALKLEY
... bachelor / spinster ... both of this parish ... by banns.

*  Thomas has signed as "PIRT"  (it is quite clear on the image - and has been indexed as such).

Edited to correct :   When I looked again at the image, it seems that it was not the original signature of Thomas PEART.   The Vicar, also had the forename of "Thomas" which was written directly above this, and in comparing these, it now appears to me that the vicar has written both his and Thomas PEART's names ...  which probably accounts for the surname being spelled incorrectly as "PIRT".  ?   ;)

Ann WALKLEY - signed X (her mark)

Witnesses :  John JONSEY ? (looks like) - his X mark ... and Harriet COX  - her X mark

Hi thank you for the information, I just had the certificate a couple of days ago and on the certificate the forename is blank.
