Walter Charles Rudd listed on FIND A GRAVE passed away 16 February 1921 Longford, County Longford, Ireland.

Casualty of the Great War, Serjeant Rudd born 1879 died in Longford Barracks whilst serving with the 9th (Queen's Royal) Lancers~Service No - 313616.

He was 42 and left a widow, Bessie Florence Rudd of Hadleigh, Suffolk.
marriage registered September 1911 - Cosford - 4a 1886
a son Douglas H C Rudd birth registered December 1912 - Cosford - 4a 1729

UK & Ireland, Nursing Registers, 1898-1968 for Douglas Heatly Cecil Rudd - 1957 - 1958 - registered 28-5-1943 - R A M C Hospitals.

He was accepted for commemoration as war dead on 2nd March 2016, and his name was immediately added to the United Kingdom Book of Remembrance.

I think he was in South Africa in 1901

His son Douglas H C RUDD married Finola F A Cleary in 1954
