Good find, and a 1907 death of a:

DAKERS    Jessie Maud    44    Islington

however, it doesn't seem to tie in with:

Quote
. Frederick Charles Dakers (Capt)  - born 1872 Montrose Scotland and aged 36 years. Travelling Liverpool to New York on the Lusitania - arriving 31 July 1908 - wife at home Errol Perthshire.

unless, if the Jessie death above was his wife, he married again soon after (albeit no obvious such in England or Scotland)?

The only Dakers/Jackson birth I'm seeing in England in timescale, was a Matt Mallaburn Dakers born and died in Sunderland area in 1901, so not likely to be connected as it was before Frederick and Jessie's 1902 marriage. No obvious Dakers/Young birth/s in England for 1916-18.

Brother Edward Dakers born 1878 Forfarshire Montrose and aged 23 years - was living at 62 Queens Street Dumfries - the home of Ebenezer Dalziel - occupation architect.

Edward John William Dakers married Maggie Blair - 1906 - Dumrfies - 821/73

Edward John W Dakers - aged 68 years - 1947 - 842/9 - Moffat

Maggie Blair Dakers - aged 91 years - 1970 - 842/62 - Moffat

Birth of a daughter  ???

Margaret Blair Kakers - 1907 - 821/262 - Dumfries

Sandra

Mention of:

https://www.myheritage.com/names/edward_dakers

suggests, but would need checked, they had one daughter: Margaret Blair Jolly Douglas (born Dakers). Which fits with your birth find above and with the known link to 'Jolly' surname in earlier generation, therefore it would seem she married a 'Douglas'.
