Hi
I'm looking for Sergeant John Watlen/Watler.
On his son James's baptism 1777 Salisbury. John is listed as a Sargent in 50 Regt. Although I cant see much on him but notice I think 2 John Watlen/Watler get taken prisoner in France at various times 1779 and 1798.
John is Married to a Margaret (I've yet to find marriage)
and Also has a Daughter called Judith/Julia.
