Lionel Strawbridge 1922 - 1995 Born in Exeter, any info please.

Hi

I'm trying to find any information on Lionel Strawbridge.  Lionel lived in Birmingham with his partner Laurie Williams and they were involved with a couple of clubs, one of them called The JUG.

If anyone has any info, please could you let me know.

Yes that's my question that I asked. 

Lionel has a birth Cert that states the birth place is Exeter. And his death cert states Birmingham.

Exactly what type of info are you trying to find?   You say you share the same surname but that doesn’t necessarily mean you are related - unless you have other info to the contrary?   

Have you bought a copy of his birth cert to find his mother’s christian name?

I didn't need to buy a birth cert to find the mothers maiden name.

You need to buy the birth certificate for confirmation of her christian name.

A free search of 1939 gives these probable family members with him;

Or not, as Lionel is in Tiverton, not Axminster, so do not know what the free search is producing.

Lionel's birth presumably with part of the page number missing probably because the transcriber couldn't read it.

I've come up with Lionel living in Tiverton with a Young family, dob 26.5.1922

Hhmm, the death record for 1995 shows a birth date of 26.4.1922.
