My dad has a book with what I believe is my great grandma initals on them, just need to find out what regiments these two people are in so I can link these to who they are.

I have a victorian Photo album with 50 photos in and 3/4 of them I don't know where they sit in my family tree very confusing. If I could find the regiments of these two I might be able to find out the rest of them.

Have to wait for the experts. Do you have connections to South Africa, Australia or New Zealand? There was a South African Irish regiment. The collar badge is cloth? so not regular British Army. Hopefully, the experts will be along soon.

Neither regt wore the shamrock collar badge.

The South Irish Imperial Yeomanry did as did the SA Irish regt.

The slouch hat was worn in the Boer war and by many Yeomanry regts up to 1908 and possibly later.
