Steamship ticket - What's the name of the ship
« on: Monday 12 February 18 16:22 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to find the name of the steamship on this ticket that my Grandfather used to come back to the UK in 1912. I can find no record on the immigration records/passenger lists. Any ideas anyone?

Hi

A Charles Austin aged 27, a clerk, arrived on the Carmania 15 December 1912 in Liverpool.  Sailed from New York.  Last country of residence was Canada.

Never heard my Grandfather described as a clerk before - farmer, labourer, market gardener, haulier - but never clerk; this warrants further investigation...
