How was his surname spelt on his marriage reg?  How is his son's surname spelt on his birth reg?

What is his occupation on the marriage cert?

She is shown as Betty in 1851 and Henry is shown as 4yrs old

Marriage cert shows William Anforth was a coal miner

Henry's birth was registered as Hanforth in 1846

The 1851 has a daughter Ann Tidgewell - also a widow.  Ann only married William Tidgewell Dec qtr 1850 and there is no death for him prior to the 1851 census

Betty Handforth was a witness to the marriage

Strange that 2 young daughters should both be widowed but no deaths for their husbands

EDIT

There is a William Tidgley death March qtr 1851 Burnley aged 24 - he was 25 on marriage cert.  Ann is 29 in 1851
