finding missing family - assenheimers
« on: Tuesday 13 February 18 21:36 GMT (UK) »
Trying to track down family members on my fathers side. The trouble is that i do not have many dates and information. My father's mothers name was justine assenheimer. I have no information, or dates other than i do know she passed before coming to Canada. Her mother was Emelia Assenheimer (ernst) 1869 - 1955. She had 6 boys and two girls, one of which was justine. Two son's are: gustav assenheimer 1890-1969 (on immigration papers was from Janowka) and reinhold assenheimer 1895-1963( Found on other family tree Janowka russia as well). One daughter passed at the age of 3. Emelia's husbands name was john and he died in 1921.  I am trying to find the other son's to see if anyone has more information on their family trees for Justine.  I have tried  keep hitting brick walls  as to birth certificates, death certificates and marriage certificates for Justine as well as any other children for Emelia. If you all can direct me to where to look i would be much appreciative!

Do you have a date for their entry to Canada?

I'm not sure I follow this - where was your father born?

HI Groom,
My father was born: May 21, 1926
County            Kievsky Oblast

Region            Gostomel’   (Hostomel)

Village            Irpin

I'm looking for information regarding his mom, Justine Assenheimer that i cannot find her birth or death dates and a list of her sibblings, 4 other brothers and 1 sister. Her parents are Emelia Assenheimer, maiden name Ernst, and father Johan Assenheimer who we only have death year of 1921.
Thanks!
