Hello,

I am seeking information about Robert Stoddart.   He was born in Rise Hill, Edrom, around 1771.  His family was "Associate Presbyterian" so I am not finding any evidence of his birth or parents.  He had a sister named Jean,  who married Thomas Hoggarth,  and they in turn had a son named Thomas who was born in Nenthorn in 1814.

Robert Stoddart married Agnes Purvis around 1793.  Agnes was born 1765 in Allanbank, was the daughter of John.  Robert and Agnes had a daughter Agnes born in 1795 in Swinton and Sipirin, and then they sailed for the US around 1795-96.   Any information you have on the Stoddart, Purvis or Hoggart families would be greatly appreciated.

Robert married Agnes Purves 11 January 1794, Swinton And Simprin, Berwick, Scotland.
Manson, Wilson, Copland, Craighead, Youngson, Ross, Thomson, Smith, Horn
