What are these?
« on: Thursday 15 February 18 03:45 GMT (UK) »
A fifth cousin sent along a photo of some family items he had come across and we were wondering what they were. Any help and ideas appreciated.

They are lovely whatever they are.  :)

How long are they?

Do they have any catches which can close the ends up? (similar to a neck chain)

Most likely a watch chain.  Google "double Albert" for some examples.

With a "button" in the middle rather than the cross bar? It looks that way, especially the first example.

The lack of a cross bar is interesting - still I am not sure what else it could be.
