looking for relations of George Donald b. 1792 and Ann Johnson - especially any who may be living in Scotland. I presume there children would have had families in Australia but looking for Scottish connections

What reason do you have for thinking this?

George and his wife Ann(Johnson) migrated to Australia in 1839 and it seems all their children went as well. One of their daughters Ann married a convict Henry Phipps in Australia which is the beginning of my line. I have a grand daughter working in Scotland at the moment and she is interested in her Scottish heritage

Do you know the parents of George and Ann as this is precensus and registration the only records would be church ones

Also what were the names of their children in order of birth as this can sometimes give clues to their parents

George and Ann's children were Ann 1819, James 1821, Margaret 1823, Walter 1825, Mary 1827, Isabella 1829, Jane 1929 and George 1832
George's parents were James Donald 1765 and Ann Thompson 1864. George was 1 of 8 children and he died in Queensland Australia in 1889

If you go to  Scotlands People website and search for Donald deaths between 1855 and 1862 in Banff mothers surname Thomson without the p. 2 deaths records can be downloaded one for Alexander and the other Ann on these will tell you spouse if they married fathers name mothers name including maiden name and informant relationship to the deceased You then could possibly trace them through the census

Also there's a tree on Ancestry which has death dates for George and his siblings which 2 match the ones on Scotlands people

I am descended from your ancestor's (Isabel) twin sister Jane Donald m. Edward Anderson.  I have never been able to find their mother Ann after she arrived with the family on 26 September 1839. I live in Brisbane. Any ideas?
