1889 diary p 10 No chapel preaching
« on: Thursday 15 February 18 14:51 GMT (UK) »
One word small word is tripping me up here. Any ideas please?

"My holdings forth at the chapel must come to end as the other
day I received a letter from Tubbs (G.) saying the Mr Wood has written
saying I had put him in a fix with my preaching & that he strongly objected
to it. I wrote to Mr Wood as copy enclosed (d) I think it would be ungracious
of me to keep on esp. as I got most of my ideas out of the
manor library. Had dinner at Rectory yesterday, Mr B. talks
"
Mr Wood owned the manor.

Thank you for all the energies put into helping me.

The bold text is wholly down to  help her
