Charles Trevor Marriage Query.

Hi All.
My 4 x Great Grandmother Sarah Trevor was Christened on the 10th April 1771 at St Mary Rotherhithe to parents Charles Trevor and Sarah. I have been looking for a marriage for Charles and Sarah for a while now, and have just found a Charles Trevor marriage to a Sarah White in 1766 at Deptford, could this be my 5 x Great Grandparents?. Rotherhithe and Deptford seem to be not to far apart.

Quite possibly.  Have you looked for other baptisms for children of your couple prior to Sarah's in 1771.

There are two earlier baptisms in St Mary's - parents Charles & Sarah Trevor 
Charles    24 Feb 1762
Charles     28 Apr 1769

The baptism for Sarah at Rotherhithe was found for me by catfordcrooner on the forum.
Thank you for the other baptisms, It looks like that the first Charles must have died.

The first Charles Trevor buried 13 Dec 1763 ropemaker's child Old Queen St

Charles second buried 10.5.1771 ropemaker's child Old Queen St. age 5
Charles the father buried 16 May 1771 age 29 ropemaker Old queen Str.

All at Rotherhithe.
There may be another child Thomas age 1 buried 15.7.1770 rope maker's child.

Thank you for your information regarding the burials.
It would appear that the second child Charles and his father died within a week of each other, It must have been a terrible time for his wife Sarah.
