Theodor Pedersen Storbo (b.1849 in Norway or Sweden)

Hello,

I have a Theodor Pedersen Storbo born 1849. I am looking to find his birth record and parents, however do not know if he was born in Sweden or Norway. Storbo is actually in Sweden and so I assumed he was born there. He moved to America in 1881, settling in Minnesota. His wife Anna Jonsdotter died in 1880 when giving birth to twins in Storbo, Sweden. I believe he married Anna in Røros, Sør-Trøndelag, Trøndelag, Norway in 1874. After her death in 1880, Theodor then married their housekeeper Baret.

On Theodor's entry to USA, he says he was born Jämtland, Vemdalen in Sweden. However, on census records in the USA, he says Norway. Can anyone help me find a birth record for him so I can find his parents? Thank you so much.

Theodor then married their housekeeper Baret.

Berit who is with him on the passenger list was not living with him in Sweden so I don't think she was his housemaid. How they met or where they were married I have no idea. I have looked around but cannot find anything.
