James Bowden died in 1864
« on: Friday 16 February 18 09:58 GMT (UK) »
James Bowden was born in 1821 in Ireland and served in the British Army. He was in the Military Hospital in Yarmouth in 1861, was discharged from the Army on medical grounds in 1863, and died in Yarmouth in 1864. He was buried in the cemetery in Yarmouth on 10 November 1864. Does anyone know whether this grave stone is still standing?

Did he actually have a gravestone in the first place? Gravestones cost money and not every family could afford one.

St Nicholas' PR give his age as 44

The reference to Row 132 could be where he lived.
See Great Yarmouth Rows at http://www.paulinedodd.com/the-rows-of-great-yarmouth-norfolk.html

Row 132 was called:-   Adams the Barber Presents the Butcher, or Dove Court Row

according to Ancestry's burial records he is buried cemetery section V, grave 185, internment no. 1128. Doesn`t give if the cemetery is St Nicholas or Caister. I assume the former.
