Ancestry.ca has free access to all Canadian Immigration records this weekend (Feb 16 - Feb19).

Strange, but it couldn't find me, nor my sister, nor my mother, nor my father, nor my grandmother, nor my step-father - even though there were three separate journeys and four different surnames.

For some reason, they like to keep that tidbit of information well hidden.

From Jan. 1, 1936 onwards, those passenger lists are kept with Citizenship and Immigration
Canada. And access to those would require some "jumping through hoops".
