Charles Lindsay Morrison b. 1886 , Scotland to New Zealand.

Hi ,

I think Charles married Mary Ethel Hoye(s) 1916 New Zealand and they had a son in 1916.
Family stories say that he served in the New Zealand Forces in WW1 and at some point returned to Scotland(possibly during his Army service ?).
It looks like he died in New Zealand in 1931.

His parents were James Henderson Morrison and Rachel Milne Tawse , the son born in 1916 had the middle name of Tawse so I think I have the correct Charles Morrison.

I don't know when he went to New Zealand , he was on the 1901 Census in Scotland.

Any further information would be much appreciated  :)

The first military file has a record of his marriage, 3 children, and his admission to a hospital in Dundee in 1918.

Looks like Mary didn't deal with the Probate and had to go back to court years later.

The Forces records are certainly my Charles Morrison.

Charles Lindsay Morrison was my great grandad's(Peter Morrison) younger brother.
